Church Ministries
Clergy Ministry teaches salvation, preach the Word, spiritually train our children and carry out Matthew 25:31-46. They oversee the operation of Zion Travelers ensuring the by-laws are followed and financial integrity is maintained
Clerical Ministry maintains a storehouse of information pertinent to ZT in library form. Also establishes church directory, issues a newsletter, and maintains the website.
Counsleing For Joy Ministry listens and cares for those in crisis and ministers to the bereaved.
Finance Ministryoversees the collecting, accounting and dispersal of funds.
Help Ministry ensures that all who enter the doors of Zion Travelers receive an inviting and inspirational experience. The health of our church and surrounding community is enriched through health fairs/drives and information guides.
Instructional Ministry provides the training materials and teachers for Sunday School, Bible Class, Orientation, Guidance Class and the Church Nursery. Ensures the instructors are spirit filled and well versed in the scriptures and with the church mission and goals.
Men Ministry assists the pastor, oversees the welfare of the church building and grounds, train the young men to maturity. Through the deacons, assists with communion and visit the sick and shut-in
Music Ministry ensures all church services and events are enlightened by music of praise with the musicians and choirs - Men, Women, Sanctuary, Inspirational, Young Adult and Children.
Outreach Ministry brings the neighborhood into Zion Travelers and introduces the light of Zion Travelers to the city through visits to homes, hospitals, nursing homes, and jails.
Program Ministry coordinates all church events ensuring broad member participation. The conduct of special programs and for decorative ideas for the church is also their responsibility.
Women Ministry prepares communion and contacts and uplifts through prayer sick and missing members. Training in church protocol and etiquette is also the responsibility of this ministry.
Youth-Young Adult Ministry creates programs to spiritually train the youth from infancy to adulthood. The youth participate in a core of church activities to develop leadership qualities and spiritual maturity.
